We made our offer for fixes to the seller and they conter-offered with 1 less fix. We accepted the offer.  They are supposedly having a yard sale tomorrow, July 22.  I’ll probably go over there around 0600 or 0700 and see if they are selling the lawnmower I’ve asked them for.

Yesterday I called Travelers insurance and received a quote for both home and auto, and by going with Travelers I will save $505 a year over my current policy with MetLife.

Now I have to call the utilities (gas, water, electrical), and advise them I will be transferring my service to the new address on July 31. My Realtor is going to ask the sellers not to turn any of the utilities off, but just to advise that it will be transferred to me on the 31st.
